In the early 90's, Grunge was reigning supreme. '93 Lollapalooza had blown up big and took over the Gorge in Eastern Washington State. Bush was handing Clinton over the White House. And Defecated Corpse had already been broken up almost a year by the time Garth set out to record, by himself, the first Effluvia demo: World Termination. This was the genesis of many years toiling away trying to create a lasting lineup. (One -legged-playing)Drummers and (wanna-be) Bass players came and went and were quickly disposed of in the numerous Washington State sanctioned musician graveyards. All we have to say now is: We will never change, dedication perseveres, we're never "too old to grind" and fuck you if you thought otherwise. We're EFFLUVIA!
